Shocking Haaretz Survey

According to a Haaretz survey, 82% of the Israeli population spoke in favour of cleansing the occupied territories of all Palestinians, and nearly half even in favour of doing so in the Old Testament manner: leave no one alive!

When asked whether the Israeli army should "act like the biblical Israelites under Joshua at Jericho and kill all the inhabitants of a conquered city, 47 percent agreed," according to the QNN report. More than 65 percent of respondents "believe in a modern incarnation of Amalek, a biblical enemy of the Jews," the report says. Of these, 93 percent believe that the biblical command to "exterminate Amalek" still applies today.

Among Jewish Israelis under 40, 66% support the expulsion of native Palestinian citizens and 58% support the repetition of the conquest of Jericho. Only 9% of men under 40 — those most likely to serve in the army — rejected all notions of expulsion or genocide, the report says.

So it is not just a few far-right politicians like Netanyahu who are driving the genocide forward; the entire people stands behind it, contrary to the opinion of well-meaning German politicians who think that the people of Israel as such stand behind human rights! And there is no talk at all of a two-state solution, nor was it ever really pursued, but always only a never-fulfilled promise and a pure deception.

"What the Israeli army is now doing in the Gaza Strip — frankly, I no longer understand with what aim," said German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the "WDR Europaforum 2025" at the digital conference re:publica in Berlin.

Well, the fact that he does not understand what it is about is probably because he is completely incompetent and apparently never grasped the goal of Zionism. He would only need to look once at the map below, which unmistakably portrays the goal: the complete seizure of Palestine and the expulsion of its rightful owners.

Most recent developments in Gaza and the West Bank not yet depicted.

Months ago we had already pointed to Israel's master plan and said that the indescribable atrocities taking place in Gaza are part of a carefully calculated Israeli strategy aimed at violently expelling as many as possible of the Palestinians remaining in the northern Gaza Strip, while those who resist and stay are starved or killed. This plan has been publicly known for months.

Merz continued: "Affecting the civilian population to such an extent, as has increasingly been the case in recent days, can no longer be justified by a fight against Hamas terrorism."

Here Merz pretends that the human rights violations have only been taking place for a few days and not already since the founding of the Zionist entity, which represents an indispensable strategic bridgehead in the Middle East, above all for the USA and the West as such.

The director of the World Food Programme, Cindy McCain, however agreed with Merz when she said she had seen no evidence that Hamas had stolen aid supplies for Gaza. Israel's only argument for continuing to block aid to Gaza is publicly refuted by a member of one of the most Israel-friendly families in US politics.

At the same time, Merz referred to Germany's historical responsibility toward Israel resulting from the Holocaust. "This country, Germany, must now hold back with public advice toward Israel like no other country in the world," said Merz. "But when boundaries are crossed, where humanitarian international law is really being violated, then Germany too, then the German Chancellor too, must say something about it. And I have said this somewhat more clearly in recent days."

Merz had already told Netanyahu in personal exchange in the past: "Don't overdo it." That is probably meant to say: "If you must carry out an ethnic cleansing, then please without this flood of cruel images! I have problems justifying them before my domestic audience, despite the stereotypical memory of the Holocaust!" "Don't overdo it!" What would the collective West probably say and do if the people in Gaza were Jews, and those who bomb, murder, and starve them were Arabs? The choice of words alone reveals the underlying racism!

The "critical words" will of course in no way change anything about Germany's financial and military support for Israel. Not even German companies' trade with the illegal settlements in the West Bank, of which Israel now wants to build 22 more, will be stopped. There are already 750,000 illegal settlers! Nevertheless, it is astonishing that such words are spoken at all. Only recently someone was convicted of trivializing the Holocaust, merely because he had asked whether Germany had learned nothing from the Holocaust, because Germany supports Israel!

"Don't overdo it, Bibi"

Most recently, the German Commissioner for Antisemitism, Felix Klein, also intervened in the state-reason debate. "We must work with all our strength to preserve the security of Israel and of Jews worldwide," said Klein in an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. "But we must also clearly say that this is not a justification for everything."

As an Antisemitism Commissioner one is of course somewhat in a losing position when criticism of Israel and Zionism is equated with antisemitism. Burning and starving children, shot medics, bombed hospitals, schools, and refugee camps are simply not good publicity! It does not help that Israel allows no foreign journalists in and has already murdered over 200 Palestinian ones. Still too much of the truth leaks through. A little balm is necessary there. One wants to appease the citizens. One also does not want to see one's image in the world completely ruined as a supporter of Israel, and must also here profile oneself somewhat as a critic.

On top of this comes the smouldering genocide lawsuit against Israel. The UN Human Rights Commissioner Volker Türk raised the genocide accusation and had announced in Geneva that he saw signs that Israel was using hunger in the Gaza Strip as a method of war. This is a war crime, said Türk. "The situation with hunger, starvation, and famine is a consequence of the comprehensive Israeli restrictions on the import and distribution of humanitarian aid and commercial goods, a consequence of the displacement of the majority of the population as well as the destruction of vital civilian infrastructure," said Türk.

As another EU country, Ireland had joined South Africa's genocide proceedings against Israel, as the International Court of Justice announced. In a brief press statement, the ICJ announced that Ireland had joined Nicaragua, Colombia, Mexico, Libya, Bolivia, Turkey, the Maldives, Chile, Spain, and the State of Palestine on Monday in applying for an intervention in the proceedings. South Africa filed its lawsuit against Israel in December 2023 and accused the country of having committed genocide during its ongoing offensive in the Gaza Strip.

The Irish move is likely motivated by its own national history. As a result of the so-called Great Famine between 1845 and 1849, around one million people died in what is now Ireland, which was then still entirely under British control. Despite the food shortage caused by potato blight, food continued to be exported from Ireland to Great Britain. The famine shapes Irish national consciousness to this day.

At the moment it is unclear to what extent Germany's support for Israel, and thereby also the support of the genocide, could be legally assessed. Not that anyone still cares much about the International Criminal Court! Netanyahu is after all invited by Merz despite the arrest warrant. Here the whole hypocrisy is coming to light more and more. How can one attach weight to an arrest warrant against Putin when other arrest warrants are flagrantly disregarded? Here too, something is meant to be counteracted in a publicly effective way.

Germany is plunging not only into an economic and social abyss, but above all into a moral one! No wonder that more than half of all Germans are thinking about emigrating. A new survey by the YouGov institute produced surprising figures: 58% of the inhabitants of Germany would like to move abroad if they were financially and privately free. By contrast, those who are categorically unwilling to consider a move are only 15%. Since we may assume that especially older people no longer think about moving, one can say that almost all young high achievers are no longer willing to bear the burden of migration, old-age provision, war aid, sanctions, climate protection measures, etc.

But it is primarily a spiritual problem. When one pays taxes in Germany, one inevitably supports genocide and further irresponsible politics. And one lives in an atmosphere in which a pious, God-near life has become virtually impossible. From this point of view, emigration is certainly to be recommended.
